Meet Mickia

Hello! I am so glad that you stopped by! My name is Mickia Jolley. I am a part-time freelance virtual assistant and the owner of The Jolley Shift Virtual Assistant Services LLC. The Jolley Shift was created to help business owners and entrepreneurs maximize their productivity and leverage their time by providing my virtual service. This allows business owners to expand their brands. Adding me to your visionary team would allow you to refocus and rekindle your passion for growing your business. I want to give you your time back to focus on the things that matter most to you! My goal is to ensure that my clients reach theirs.

 

However, I am not always working. In my free time, I wear many hats. I am a full-time graduate student (MSW) and a full-time employee. I am the wife to my high school sweetheart and the "favorite aunt" of the family. My favorite author is Nora Roberts and I enjoy karaoke more than I probably should. I also enjoy telling jokes. Am I good at it? I think so, but who's keeping track anyway?

The Jolley Shift was just an idea for a long time. I doubted my ability to be an entrepreneur. Seriously, I tried my hand at multiple types of businesses such as a vegan lip gloss line and photography. Sound like pretty good ideas, huh? Nope! I got very little clientele for both, so I just knew that this would be a similar venture. Why would any business owner want to work with someone who has no record of being a successful business owner? I could not agree more with that thought. However, at the end of 2021, I had one prayer request. That was for 2022 to be big for me. I have always been so afraid of putting myself out there, but this year felt different. This year felt BIG! This year I didn't care if I failed. I looked fear in its face for the first time and decided to go after the woman that I wanted to be. Why? Because I knew that she was inside of me waiting to be set free.

 

The Jolley Shift is just that for other entrepreneurs. I help other business owners work towards the brand that they so desire to be. I give my clients their time back to refocus and refuel. They no longer worry about being overwhelmed with tasks or behind on their to-do list because The Jolley Shift has them covered!
